Since we moved into our home in September, we have spent months decorating and pulling together our favorite room in the house: the living room. The final piece which *I believe* pulls the room together perfectly is our Ladybird Leather Sofa in Hudson Lager by Austin Couch Potatoes. Couch Potatoes just announced a new gallery in Furniture Mall of Texas – the gallery will house a variety of upholstered furniture made locally at the Couch Potatoes’ factory in East Austin.
We spent a day out at the Furniture Mall of Texas on the hunt for the perfect couch. The store is over 100,000 square feet and features 694 rooms on display! There is truly something for everyone!
This is the room we will be spending late nights up binging Netflix series in and also the room where we can snuggle up on the couch as a new family of three (four if you include Waffles)! 🙂
I would describe our design style as boho contemporary. In this room, we pulled in a variety of different textures from the leather sofa to the marble coffee table, wood console and pampas grass decor. I wanted to keep most of the room light and airy, but we pulled in a darker colored rug (great for hiding stains) and accents of black wood in the console.
