Take Your Valentine Somewhere Sweet. Below you’ll find the Austin restaurants we recommend for Valentine’s Day.

Garrison Restaurant: Garrison has prepared an exclusive four-course Valentine’s menu available February 14th-17th.  Enjoy grilled asparagus, crispy artichoke, a choice of Akaushi beef eye of rib, atlantic lobster or dry aged duck breast, and a choice of chocolate or strawberry mousse for dessert.  Dinner is $95/person.

Arlo Grey: Top Chef Kristen Kish has prepared a three course Valentine’s meal for guests, featuring artichoke hearts, aged ribeye tartare, seared diver scallops, roasted cornish game hen, and baked meringue for dessert.  Pre-fixe prices are not listed online.

Cafe Josie: Enjoy a cozy date night at Cafe Josie. The restaurant is offering a five course Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu for $75 per person; the menu includes offerings like Bay Scallop Ceviche with tiger’s milk and Thai chili, Smoked Pork Tenderloin with herbed polenta, Oak Seared Yellowfin Tuna, Grilled Redfish with dashi aioli, and Foie Creme with roasted strawberries.

L’Oca D’oro:  A Valentine’s Day dinner prepared for the ‘lovers’ and the ‘haters’ of the Hallmark card holiday.  The six course meal will run $75/person with an option $50 beverage pairing and vegetarian options available, served from February 13th-16th.  Reservations can be made online.

Jeffrey’s:  Treat your Valentine to dinner AND flowers at Jeffrey’s this year.  Floral arrangements will be available for purchase with a small bouquet for $40 or a large bouquet for $75.  Pre-ordered flower arrangements will be presented tableside. A four-course dinner is $125/person with additions, and an option for a $55 wine pairing.  The menu will feature Chestnut Tortellini, Pan Roasted Diver Scallops, Rohan Duck Breast “Au Poivre,” Honey & Pistachio Mousse Cake and more!

Josephine House:  McGuire Moorman’s neighboring concept, Josephine House, is offering a similar deal with floral arrangements presented tableside starting at $40.  The menu here is a three-course for $75/person with the option to add wine pairings for $35/person. Dishes include: Beef Carpaccio, Truffle Ravioli, Crispy Red Snapper a la plancha, and Pink Grapefruit & Almond Layer Cake.

Vino Vino:  Select between the ‘Loves Me’ and ‘Loves Me Not’ special menus depending on your mood.  Each special menu runs $75/person with an optional $35 beverage pairing, and will be available on both Thursday, February 14th and Friday, February 15th.

Uchi Austin:  There is no better place than Uchi to celebrate a special occasion, so why not start making your Valentine’s Day plans now. Enjoy their 12-course Prix Fixe menu ($185 for two) including bites like Amuse with tea smoked duck and begonia, Kambujime Hotate with cured scallop, hoja santa and aka san bai zu, Sake Mi Cult with slow poached king salmon, huckleberry and puffed wild rice, and Itoyori Crudo with threadfin bream, green strawberry and green garlic dashi.

Uchiko Austin:  A wonderful meal on Valentine’s Day is almost impossible to resist, especially when it involves dinner at Uchiko. Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Uchiko’s 10-course Prix Fixe menu ($185 for two), including Sashimi with scallop, Rainbow Trout with Chinese sausage, smoked peanut and pickled peppers, Intermezzo with Lemongrass ginger sorbet and strawberry bochi, and Wagyu short rib with beet pave, beet gastrique and beef jus.

Stella San Jac:  Stella San Jac will be serving a special Valentine’s menu by Executive Chef Martin Wilda.  Menu highlights include #16 biscuits, lamb meatballs, jumbo lump crab cake, tuna tacos, kale and brussels salad, prime strip, lobster mac n cheese, diver scallops and for dessert guests can choose from a smore’s jar, chocolate cake, dulce de leche cheesecake and #16 strawberry shortcake.

The Caroline:  Make a reservation at The Caroline this Valentine’s and enjoy a special menu with featured cocktails and food specials listed below. The Love Potion No. 9 cocktail of the evening comes with Tito’s Vodka, lemon juice, creme de violet, strawberry cordial, garnished with candy heart for $9.   There will also be smoked beef tataki, togarashi rub, daikon & pear salad, fried shishito peppers and an option for a lobster dinner for $38. For dessert, guests will have the option to order a Red Hot Cinnamon Cheesecake for $9.

Lonesome Dove:  This 5 course, $95/person meal is prepared by the talented Chef Tim Love.  The Austin menu includes rabbit & rattlesnake wontons, wild boar rib, smoked salmon, tomato basil bisque, New Zealand elk foie gras, 5 oz stuffed tenderloin, seared swordfish, pork secreto, and chocolate duo for dessert.  Make a reservation in advance on their site or through Open Table.

Fleming’s Steakhouse:  Go all out at Fleming’s Steakhouse with their ‘Wine, Dine and Sparkle’ three course Valentine’s Day dinner paired with a gift from luxury Fifth Avenue jeweler.  Price points can vary with multiple gift options available, starting at $350.
