Super Bowl Watch Parties:  Looking for somewhere in Austin to watch the big game with a group?  Here are a few options for Super Bowl Sunday 2019.

Fresa’s:  Dine in or out at Fresa’s this Super Bowl Sunday.  You can now reserve a table to watch the game on one of their many TVs.  There will be happy hour drink specials, as well as complimentary queso all-night-long.  Party starts at 3pm.

Fareground:  In celebration of their one year anniversary, Fareground will be hosting their own Super Bowl watch party benefiting the Andy Roddick Foundation.  There will be food specials, as well as beers from Hi-Sign Brewery. Festivities will start at 3pm and run ‘late.’

The Ranch:  If you’d like the celebrate with the true fans, the official Patriots watch party will be taking place at The Ranch on West Sixth street this year.

Whisler’s: Whisler’s Annual Super Bowl Party is back with drinks specials inspired by the opposing teams: The Rams and the Patriots.  Food specials include: chips, dips, hamburgers and hot dogs. The party starts at 4pm.

Sway Westlake Hills:  Sway’s Westlake Hills location will be hosting their first ever Super Bowl party this Sunday on their heated rooftop deck overlooking Downtown Austin. The special will be a dozen wings with buttermilk, slaw, celery and jasmine rice. Full food and beverage menu will be available, no reservations required, first come, first served.

8 Track:  8 Track opened this past year to a crowd of eager football fanatics, so it’s only right that they will be hosting their first ever Super Bowl party this year.  Expect all day drinks specials to be served, as well as $2 mimosas and $4 bloody mary’s during brunch.

The Infinite Monkey Theorem:  Prefer beer over wine, as your game day drink?  Well you’re in luck, because the Infinite Monkey Theorem winery will be hosting its own Super Bowl Party this year beginning at 2pm.

Craftsman: Craftsman will host its 4th Annual SOUPer Bowl Brewery Chili Cook-Off where Austin’s favorite breweries will compete against last year’s champion 512 Brewing to win over guest taste buds. Each brewery will make a beer-infused chili as attendees eat their way to determining the winner. The big game will be shown on four TVs following the cook-off for fans to enjoy. 

Trace at The W Hotel: Spirited dog lovers are invited to dress pups in their favorite team jerseys that didn’t make it to the Super Bowl at the Puppy Bowl, A Real Tail-Gate at W Austin’s TRACE. The day’s festivities will feature cocktails and puppy treats from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A 5:30 p.m. Super Bowl watch party will follow with complimentary game time subs.

Haymaker:  Not many details out yet, but Haymaker remains a classic sports bar to watch the Super Bowl.  They have TVs, wings, nachos and drink specials each year. Doors open at 11am on Sundays, but game starts at 5pm.

Lavaca Street Bar:  With three locations around Austin to choose from, fans can enjoy game day at Lavaca Street Bar downtown, at the Domain, or on South Lamar to snag $15 domestic buckets during the Super Bowl with all of the fixings from Turf ‘N Surf to feast on.

Black Sheep Lodge:  Another classic sports bar for game watching on South Lamar.  If you are into Super Bowl betting? Black Sheep Lodge has $2, $5 and $10 squares so that you can bet on the game score and keep things interesting.  The bar hasn’t released many other details, but we imagine there will be food and drink specials too.

Industry:  If you’re in the San Marcos area, Industry is the number one spot to watch the Super Bowl, and they’ll be putting up a 15 foot projector screen just for the big game.  Party goers can arrive as early as 2pm for $10 loaded barbecue plates, live music leading up to kick-off [2-5pm], $2.50 tallboys, $4 cocktails, shot specials and a corn hole tournament.

Takeout:  Need snacks for the big game?  You can pre-order from the following places in advance of the big game day.

Fresa’s:  Fresa’s Super Bowl snacks are back this year with brand new offerings including the Poblano Spinach Dip and Chicken Pastor Skewers.  Favorites from last year are back too: Wood Grilled Wings, Jalapeno Poppers, Siete Layer dip and the Super Party Platter which includes an array of the above.  Advance orders for Fresa’s Super Bowl Snacks are being accepted now with pick-up the day of the game at either Fresa’s location.

Pluckers:  Takeout or eat in at Pluckers Wing Bar on Super Bowl Sunday.  Reservations begin on Sunday, January 27th, and Pluckers will be accepting online pre-orders for their entire menu, as well as selling reserved seats to watch the game at any of their Texas locations for $10 per seat– guests must reserve a full table.  Orders will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Wing flavors include: Dr. Pepper, Manganero [Mango + Habanero], Ginger Peach Sriracha, Spicy Mandarin, Gochujang [savory and sweet Korean barbecue].

Sour Duck Market: Sour Duck Market is selling a very limited amount of take-home Super Bowl Pig Kits through online ordering. Priced at $600, the kits feature one suckling pig, slider buns, beans, potatoes, slaw, pickles, sauce, and of course cookies from Sour Duck Market’s celebrated bake case. Don’t miss this value: a single Pig Kit feeds 25-30 people, averaging $20 a person!

Irene’s: Make Irene’s your stop for Super Bowl party meals. The Super Bowl Package, valued at $99, serves up to 10 people and includes buffalo and teriyaki wings, French onion dip, potato salad and more. View the Super Bowl Party Package and a la carte add-ons here.

NXNW Brewing Co: Get your craft beer to go from NXNW Brewing Co., creators of Austin’s first craft beer (the Pecan Street Lager). For Super Bowl Sunday, NXNW is offering a limited 20 slim kegs (5 gallons) with “retro” pricing at $49.99 for standard brews and $59.99 for IPAs; beers are limited to availability, and kegs must be ordered by January 31. Austin Cheese Co: Nothing completes a gathering like a delicious cheese board. Austin Cheese Co. in the Arboretum has created an exclusive Super Bowl cheese plate that is sure to be the star of your Super Bowl party, complete with a football-shaped sausage right in the middle. This large tray is $95 with a limited quantity, available only while supplies last. Orders due by February 2 at noon. If you’re not looking for a full tray, Austin Cheese Co. has separate cheeses, meats, wines and other party snacks available for purchase in the shop. 

Red’s Porch: Red’s Porch on South Lamar and Quarry Lake have plenty of takeout options for Super Bowl Sunday. Thanks to their online ordering platform, football fans in Austin can easily order and pick up all their Red’s favorites before the big game starts. Grab some chili cheese fries, a few BBQ brisket sandwiches and Red’s famous chicken fried chicken with bacon gravy for a guaranteed good time.
