As a response to the Coronavirus pandemic, several of your favorite local restaurants are taking extra precautions. Many have added sanitation wipes & hand sanitizer stations, scheduled additional cleaning of the kitchen, dining and bathroom space, some have added incentives for those dining in such as 10% off your meal, and others have added more delivery and takeout options. Restaurants and service industry individuals are really taking a hit right now, so please do whatever you can to continue supporting them [while taking the below precautions].
Here are five tips to consider when dining out:
- Keep a small hand sanitizer in your pocket or purse!
- Look at the menu online before you go, so you don’t have to handle the menu.
- Practice Social Distancing and sit six feet away from other diners.
- If you aren’t feeling well or are highly susceptible to the virus, order for delivery and ask your driver to leave the meal outside.
- Consider ordering takeout from your favorite restaurants.
*Another way you can support is by purchasing a gift card for use at a later date*
